O-profiles are made from glass fibre reinforced composite, a strong, durable and lightweight material that can be easily machined and customised on site. The material is extremely stable and retains its structure even in aggressive environments.

Composite is not electrically conductive and therefore does not require grounding, nor does it interfere with radio waves. The material has a low coefficient of thermal expansion, so there will be minimal changes when exposed to temperature fluctuations. Frost and low temperatures will not cause the material to crack. And with unique properties such as weather, rot and corrosion resistance, as well as chemical resistance, there is minimal maintenance associated with the profiles.
